Kings Langley first team manager, Chris Cummins, said that, “We are delighted to welcome Marc Fryer to our club. Marc joins us from Berkhamsted FC and comes with a great reputation at this level. He has developed a squad of players over the past few years with a few stepping up to first team football. Marc joins our U18s setup along with Steve McHugh and Andy Grindrod. This will be a very important part of the club going forward in helping us produce and promote young local talent into our first team. It is important that they have a pathway from our youth system through and one thing I will do is promote from within. If they are good enough then they will get that opportunity.”
Marc Fryer added the following comments.
“Delighted to be joining forces with both Steve McHugh and Andrew Grinrod who have done a wonderful job with the current batch of U18’s at Kings Langley.”
“Jason Dale comes with me from Berkhamsted FC, Jason is UEFA A licensed, held coaching roles at Chelsea and the David Beckham Academy.”
“For me, the chance to assist first team manager Chris Cummins develop our youth and push them towards the first team was a huge opportunity. I’ve known Chris a long time and everyone knows his professional background and massive success in developing young players with professional clubs like Watford FC.”
“I’d like to say a big thank you to the board of directors in sharing their vision with me and couldn’t be more excited for the coming season.”
